I am thinking of making Felicity's baby sister from this doll: Polly AKA Gotz Mini Muffin What do you think? I am looking for a christening outfit for an 8" doll as well. That would seem like a good outfit for her!? Here is what I was looking at: 8" Christening outfit
What do all of you think? Is the vinyl on the Gotz dolls similar to the vinyl on AG's?

We have a mini muffin. I think a mini muffin would make a good polly. The skin tone is lighter than Felicity's, but most babies are lighter than older children.
Robin helped me research Colonial infant clothing when we made our Polly. We found out that they were either swaddled or wore "long clothes." Long clothes look like a simplified version of the christening gown in your link. If you sew , they are very easy to make. It is just four rectangles sewn together to make an over sized T-shirt with caseings at the neck and wrists pull a ribbion through. Snug up the ribbons and tie to gather.

Wish I did sew. But can't. I am trying to learn. But...with a 2 y/o boy...nothing gets done lately! LOL
Thank you for the info on the skin tone of the vinyl. I am so excited about this project!!!

I think the baby doll is so cute and the outfit is beautiful. That's a great idea.

That would be cute. I just recently won a red haired, green eyed Berenguer doll of of ebay. I don't remember if the books told us what Felicity's sister Nan looked like. This doll looks to me like she could be related to Felicity. She also looks fabulous in colonial clothes so she is Nan.

What a wonderful idea. Little girls love their baby sisters.
